History and landing in Provence

Hotel&Spa La Villa*** Sainte Maxime and Plage de la Garonnette: at the heart of the Provence Landings on August 15, 1944

Part of the hotel building dates back to the 1890s. Formerly a stopover for the Garonnette du Train des Pignes, on the Toulon – Saint Raphaël route, it has been in turn: a relay, a brasserie, rooms, a restaurant, a hotel and even had two gas pumps! During Operation Dragoon, ""Blue Beach"", the Hotel was the first bombed point in Sainte Maxime - commemorative stele opposite the hotel

Destroyed, then rebuilt identically in 1951, this building combines heritage and current standards.
